I am Kai!

I like Kai because:

• It’s actually my first name
• It’s also the the legal first names of my brother and sister and I think that’s funny (Kaijing & Kaitong)
• The Chinese character 凯 means triumphant and that’s pretty sick
• I used to shy away from how ethnic Kai Chen sounded and did all I could to distance myself from being Chinese - I don’t feel this way anymore
• I still like Cathy so if you know me by that name feel free to continue calling me that.
